What you really want to know is how to make the tags, right? All tags started with a 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangle. The 4 corners were rounded with a corner rounder punch and a 1/4″ hole was punched in the top. All tags were tied with white pom pom trim and twine through the hole at the top.
For the first tag, I stamped and embossed the sentiment “Happiest Birthday” in white at the bottom of the tag. A silver foil doily was added above the sentiment and wrapped around the sides. I sponged Irresistibly Floral white designer paper with Blushing Bride Ink to get a pink “place mat” and added half of a Decorative Label Punch in white for the napkin. A silver spoon was cut with the framelit and glued to the napkin. On the right side are two labels from “Lots of Labels” framelits – the chocolate chip label is 3 1/4″ while the silver glimmer label is 3″. An ice cream cone cut from the Cool Treats Framelits is on top, stamped with some chocolate swirl and a fresh strawberry. I cut a yellow strawberry and glued it behind the red strawberry so that the yellow would show through to look like the seeds on a strawberry. I cut a third strawberry from Garden Green cardstock but just used the top leaves.
Tag 2 was embossed with the Brick Wall embossing folder then topped with a 1/2″ strip of white cardstock and a 1/4″ strip of silver foil paper. The bottom was trimmed with white pom pom trim and Tip Top Taupe striped ribbon. The sundae looks good enough to eat and was punched with the ice cream framelit dies out of cardstock. The bowl was made from silver glimmer paper and of course it has a silver spoon! The sentiment, “You’re the cherry to my sundae” was stamped in chocolate chip ink and embellished with a cherry cut with the framelit. I cut the sentiment with a 2″ scalloped circle framelit and backed with a 2 1/4″ silver circle. Both the sentiment and ice cream bowl were attached with pop dots.
The third tag started with a Blushing Bride cardstock base. A 2 1/2″ x 2″ strip of Blushing Bride designer paper was attached across the middle and a white doily half was wrapped around the bottom half of the tag. It’s hard to see in the picture but the next layer was a 1 1/2″ by 4″ banner of Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate in silver. The sentiment “I hope your day is as sweet as you are” was stamped on a banner with Chocolate Chip Ink, punched out of white cardstock with the Duet Banner Punch and backed with an off centered crumb cake banner. Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to pop the banner. I HAD to add ice cream so glammed it up with a 2 1/2″ scalloped circle of pink glimmer paper topped with the same pink designer paper used on the first layer. An ice cream cone tops it all off with a few pink enamel dots for embellishment. Notice the layers used on the cone – they came from the die cuts and are part of what makes this such a special framelit set.
